Conna-Rae & Leah – Smashing it

We are super excited to announce that two of our long-standing team members Conna-Rae and Leah have recently been promoted at Sixth Sense Salon.

Conna-Rae is one of the founding members of Sixth Sense when we opened 4 years ago, prior to this he worked alongside salon director Dean Vinning at another salon where Dean trained Conna- Rae from leaving school.

Over the past 4 years, Conna-Rae has excelled at Sixth Sense Salon, he has undertaken a substantial amount of training including his Master Colour Expert Degree, Advanced Barbering, Careologist Product Guru, Vidal Sassoon Master Craft Cutting Qualification and is set to train with the multi-award winning HOBS Art Team in November.

Not only is Conna-Rae an awesome hairdresser, he has a unique ability to make every client not only look amazing, feel like they’re to the most important person in the world.

These above talents have earnt Conna-Rae a fiercely loyal client base with a waiting list spanning between 6-8 weeks. Most of his clients book at least 3 appointments in advance to ensure their favourite hairdresser is available.

Conna-Rae commented, “I’m so excited to take on the role as Art Director at Sixth Sense Salon; I love my job, the salon, our amazing team and I’m excited about my future here”.

Conna-Rae Promoted to Art Director

Leah joined Sixth Sense Salon as a Saturday girl 3.5 years ago, since then she has been learning her craft with our in-salon education team: Dean, Conna-Rae and Charlie. Leah has managed to pick the best techniques from every one of the education team to create her own unique style that our clients are already raving about on different review platforms.

As well as in-salon education Leah has been training alongside some of the hairdressing industry icons at the Wella World Studio in London. This has given Leah unfound confidence in advanced cutting/colour techniques.

She has hit the ground running and is already becoming an extremely popular hairdresser with clients booking at least 4 weeks in advance.

Leah says: “I’ve worked so hard to start to become a stylist and I’m so excited to start building my client base and showing the world my creativity through hair.”

Leah Promoted to Stylist

Salon Director Dean V commented: “I am so proud of these guys, they are both homegrown Sixth Sense Salon Superstars and I’m I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them.

Both Conna-Rae & Leah will start their new positions on Saturday 1st September, for more information on these guys check our their Team Profile here.
