Coronation Street hairdresser Maria Connor – aka actress Samia Ghadie – joined the Sixth Sense team to launch their new salon based in Sutton Coldfield… and very nearly got away with giving salon owner Dean Vinning a quick trim!
The event was a huge success with more than 40 local press and bloggers attending to see Samia officially open the salon.
Guests were treated to champagne and canapés throughout the evening and also enjoyed a fabulous Spring Hair Trend show displaying INSTAMATIC pastel colours, balayage ombre and class gents’ cuts. Speaking of up-to-date hairstyles, Kim Kardashian’s new blonde hair colour got tongues wagging with the Sixth Sense team declaring they prefer her as a brunette!

The salon’s new beautician Gina Raworth shows off some of her beauty skills with a lovely display of nail art. There was also live music and dancing with one of the highlights including salon owner Dean Vinning’s impression of Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda!
Dean said: “We are delighted to officially launch Sixth Sense Hair & Beauty and welcome Gina to our team who has now completed our salon. We like to think we’ve injected new life into Sutton Coldfield’s High Street and the launch of our new beauty services have given it an extra boost of glamour.”
