Sixth Sense inspired Wella to start the campaign after spotting our work in helping Sutton Coldfield resident Julie Emery grow back healthy hair after losing her locks as a side effect to chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer.

Julie started a video diary in August which documents her ‘hair journey’ using Wella product NIOXIN to improve the health of her scalp and hair.
There has been a whirlwind of support from people following Julie’s story and admiring her for her bravery in sharing her journey. Julie has been a model in our fantastic Sixth Sense Fashion Show and she helped Sixth Sense Salon host our first pamper night for 10 ladies who have now started their very own NIOXIN journey.
Julie said: “This really is amazing. We only wanted to create a video to help promote NIOXIN for Sixth Sense and to educate ladies out there to give an unbiased results using the NIOXIN treatment. I can’t believe we’ve inspired one of the biggest hair companies in the world to follow our story and then to create a national campaign with my video diary being the main focal point!”
Now on week eight, Julie’s hair is now noticeably thicker and starting to look extremely healthy which is down to ongoing treatment using NIOXIN.
Salon Director Dean Vinning said: “We’re really grateful for the support from Wella with this campaign. Working with Julie has been emotional but truly rewarding when you see the incredible results every day. We can’t believe that a little salon in Sutton Coldfield can make such a difference.”
Wella’s #GiftOfconfidence is now live and they have committed to donate £1 for every new story shared on Twitter & Facebook, with all donations going to the Hair and Beauty Benevolent Fund.
