Little Lola collects cheque to fund her treatment

Yesterday in salon, little Lola Bampton along with her parents Philip and Claire Bampton popped in the salon to collect a £2,000 cheque raised by the Sixth Sense Team, salon friends and three sponsors including Ayida IT Services, Bright Financial and Body Shell Clothing.

Back in May, the whole Sixth Sense Team joined forces with 15 additional runners in the 5k Tough Mudder Challenge Belvoir Castle, Grantham. It was a gruelling day where everyone who took part pushed themselves to the limit buy completing a monster assault course in the mud.

Everyone completed the course and raised just over £2,000 in aid of #LolasFootsteps, which is private charity set up to help pay for specialist treatment to help Lola take her first footsteps due to a condition called Muscular Dystrophy.

Lola said “Thank you for your help everybody and thank you for having me” ????

The Dean’s and the 6S Team would like to personally thank everyone for taking part in the event, especially the clients for their donations, the runners for giving up their time to take part and T-Shirt sponsors who contributed to the final amount.

We’re going to be doing the 10K challenge next year, let us know if you want to get involved:)
