Hot Blonde Hair Colours for Summer 2016 at Sixth Sense Salon in Sutton Coldfield
Do blondes really have more fun? Why not find out by going blonde this summer?!
At Sixth Sense Salon in Sutton Coldfield we are experts in delivering the most beautiful hair colours from chocolate browns to vibrant reds and golden blondes. We feature some of our favourite in-salon blonde transformations below.
If you are new to hair colour or have not had your hair coloured for six months or more, please bear in mind that you will require a skin sensitivity patch test 48 hours prior to your hair colour appointment.
The Blondest of Blondes – Platinum
If you want to make a statement, choose an icy white shade of blonde such as platinum. This hair colour needs attention to keep it looking great. Make sure you keep it well conditioned and invest in regular trims and keep your regrowth in check!
Our client had a bit of a disaster with a box hair dye colour so our Salon Director Dean transformed her hair from brassy blonde to stunning platinum using the Wella Blondor Lightening System and Illumina toning.
The Most Playful of Blondes – Beach Babe Blondes
Add some gorgeous sun-kissed highlights to your hair or ask your colour technician to paint on some face-framing ‘babylights’ for a natural look.
Our Stylist Kimmy created a more natural sun-kissed blonde with slightly darker roots, getting rid of any brassy yellow tones.
The Sweetest of Blondes – Platinum With A Hint of Pink
If you’re looking for a fashion-forward hair colour, why not try the whitest of blondes with a flash of fashion colour. Our client opted for a cool short hair cut with platinum blonde and a hint of pink and lilac for added interest – gorgeous hair created by Salon Owner Dean.
The Sophisticated Blonde Look – Ash Blondes & Silver Grey Tones
If you’re worried your hair is too damaged to cope with another hair colour, think again! Our Creative Director Connor-Rae added the incredible OLAPLEX hair repair treatment to the colouring process so our client could keep her hair length and condition. Her hair was transformed to a natural ash blonde – perfect for summer.
The Fashion Forward Blonde – Ombre & Balayage
Fancy the best of both words? Blonde & Brunette? Blonde & Redhead? Style Director Kimmy created this stunning balayage look using Wella Freelights.
There are subtle difference between the ombre and balayage look so please talk to your hair colour expert about the colour you’re after so we can get it 100% right. Even better, bring in a photo.
Usually we will mix at least two tones to create a look that graduates from darker at the roots to a lighter colour at the ends.
Transforming Dark Hair into Blonde Hair
A balayage, ombre or sun-kissed hair colour is great if you want to transform dark hair into blonde hair. Style Director Tash used OLAPLEX to make sure our client’s hair could cope with the lightening process, below.
Creative Director Conna-Rae used Wella Freelights followed by a glossing service to give this client sun-kissed golden highlights and ends to her naturally dark hair.
