We’ve been coming to Dean for years and we were really excited when he told us the news that he was opening his own salon close to where we live.

The salon is completely different from any other I’ve ever been to, their attention to detail and the friendly staff really make you feel at home, even if you don’t know Dean like I do, you feel like you’re spending time with old friends rather than getting your hair done.

What also make these guys different is how they go out of their way to look after the little ones and make what is usually a traumatic experience into a really fun event.
One of tHope 1he most thoughtful things that they do is give out certificates for first haircuts and then put a locket of hair in an envelope. 14-month old Hope is now a salon regular after receiving her first cut 8 months ago and really looks forward to seeing the Sixth Sense team.

Evan loves coming to the salon.  He usually goes with his dad and they both enjoy the time in the salon. Adam has a beer while he is waiting, while Evan is busy playing on the salon’s iPad with a bag of sweets given to him at reception.

Adam’s hair is always ‘On Point’ (his words, not mine), while Ev’s is really fashionable for his age. He’s always behaved during his appointment as he knows that he will get a Mr Cool Dude sticker at the end of the service.ev

As for myself, I don’t go to the salon as often as I should.  In fact, Dean keeps telling me if I want my hair to grow then I need it cutting more often.

However, I do have an absolute blast when I’m there. I think one of my favourite visits was when it was during Wimbledon last year. The guys served PIMMS & lemonade with handmade macarons shaped like tennis balls.

I haven’t laughed so much in a while and I think the whole salon felt the same.

Thank you to Dean & the team for everything you do, we love you guys and wish you every success.
