X Factor Hairstyles Under The Microscope

While the X Factor finalists battle it out for the number one spot, here at Sixth Sense Hair & Beauty in Sutton Coldfield we can’t help but also focus on their hair and fashion sense!

With that in mind, here we take a closer look at some of their recent hairstyle and give our verdict on who’s got the X Factor when it come to their hair!

So, where do we start?  Well, it would be a crying shame if we failed to mention the ‘Goddess of Hairstyles’ here so let’s start with Cheryl  Fernandez-Versini  (Cheryl Cole to you and me!).

Cheryl Cole’s X Factor Hair Styles

We love Cheryl’s back-combed style with trendy low ponytail.  The root stretch poker straight hair with centre parting also looks great but we think the glamorous big bouncy waves are the biggest hit when it comes to Cheryl’s hair.

Mel B’s Hair has the X Factor

It’s fair to say that fellow judge Mel B is giving Cheryl a run for her money when it comes to style.  Her slicked back low ponytail with centre parting is a big trend at the moment – trending alongside the bob which Mel B wears with volume and waves.  Less convincing is her slicked back hair in the central image but it’s a good edgy style for the woman we all know and love as Scary Spice.

Most Fashionable X Factor Hair

Who has the best hair amongst the X Factor finalists?  Chloe Jasmine harnesses old-style glamour with her platinum blonde hair colour and short cut, while Fleur East looks like an established pop star with her gorgeous curls with a hint of gold.  One of our favourite looks though is Lauren Platt’s ombre colour with gentle waves which is perfect for her age.

Classic Hairstyles on X Factor 2014

The X Factor stylists did a great job with Lola Saunders’ hair with this beautiful upstyle which is classic and elegant.  While Stephanie Nala’s long gentle curls really suit her features, we’d love to see her with a more edgy style.  Betsy-Blue from four-piece group Only The Young has lovely long blonde hair so we’re looking forward to seeing some wonderful hairstyles over the next few weeks.

Best Men’s Hair Cuts on X Factor

It’s all about the quiff when it comes to men’s hair these days and we are love, love, loving Jack Walton, Jake Quickenden and Paul Akister’s quiffed hairstyles.

Worst Men’s X Factor Hair Styles

Yes, we love Andrea Faustini’s voice and personality too but we’d love to see him adopt a more trendy haircut and maybe get the beard trimmed.  Jay James and Stevi Richie could also do with a bit more flair when it comes to their hair.  Sorry fellas!

And Finally…

They may have been voted out in the first round of the live finals, but we salute pop duo Blonde Electra for being so daring with their fashion and hair styling.  Blonde Electra, we salute you!
